Julia has six steel balls of equal mass. If she puts five of them in one pan of a beam balance and one ball and a 100 g mass in the other pan, the pans balance each other. What is the mass of each steel ball?
Thanks.
Oh & can you show your work step by step so I can understand and see what you did.
Thanks again.

you throw a fastball for velocity and you throw the chang-up to keep the hitter off balance. Instead of gripping the ball like a change why not just throw a slower fastball. so say your fastball is 85 miles an hour. why not just throw a 75 mile an hour fastball when trying to keep the hitter honest?
i want to buy my mum wii fit for xmas but we dont have a wii so i am going to buy the console but can you play wii fit without the actual balance board???
and if you can..would you say its worth i t?
This question came up on my test and the answer was out of 2 and i got 1 1/2. This was my answer:
Mass of a body is determined by weighing it with a physical balance. For example if we weigh a ball of 150g on earth with a physical balance, its mass will be the same in outer space, because we are using a physical balance. And that’s how it always remains the same.
Can someone tell me how I could get a full mark on that? You can give a completely different answer if you want. Thanks! God bless…
I need to lose weight and build power and explosiveness. I currently train Muay Thai for 2 and a half hours (1 hour 15 mins Monday and Friday). I walk about 3-4 miles most days. I’m thinking of starting running on a Sunday for around 2 miles ish. What I really want to know is what can I do at my local gym to achieve power and explosiveness. The machines available to me are
- bench press
- pec deck
- lateral pull down
- seated lever row
- bicep curl
- dumbells
- ab crunch
- triceps push
- chest pull
- treadmill
- cross country trainer
- rowing machine
- floor mat
- bike
I know some basics core exercises for the mat such as plank, side bridge and crunches. Any advice on dumbell exercises and mat exercises as well as a training regime to help my goals would be appreciated. I would also use protein on the weight training days and for Muay Thai training.
I took ballet when I was much younger but then stopped. Now I’m starting again and I know that to be on pointe shoes you need strong ankles. I can balance on the balls of my feet (very steadily) for about 35 second intervals. I also have pretty strong calves from sports.
I know that skill is an issue as well but about how long might it take for be to be on pointe?
I am going to get all Star Cheer Squad. So I was if i need to buy a balance board.I just would like to be safe.
